Legion continues success

The Tea Legion Post 266 TinCaps took on Volga last Thursday, June 30 and were able to get the 6-2 victory, thanks to five runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught came from a home run by Brady Bretzman, a groundout by Gavin Bialas, and an error on a ball put in play by Alex Hofer.

Cam Jensen pitched the TinCaps to victory. The pitcher surrendered two runs on two hits over five innings, striking out nine. Gabe Glanzer threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Trevor Welch led Tea with two hits in four at bats. Also recording hits in the game were Dawson Portner, Bretzman, Riley Schnider, and Bialas.

The TinCaps took on Flandreau on Tuesday, July 6 and will be at home on Friday, July 9 when they take on Dakota Valley at noon.
