Tea Area Community Foundation supports local initiatives with grants

The Tea Area Community Foundation continues to make a meaningful impact in the community, providing much-needed support for local projects.

Recently, the foundation awarded a $1,500 grant to the Robotics 4-H Club at the Tea Community Library (pictured at right, below). The grant, in collaboration with DeGeest Manufacturing, the club’s major sponsor, helped purchase supplies vital to the club’s operations, fostering youth interest in science and technology.

This is yet another instance of the foundation’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for Tea residents by partnering with local organizations. The Tea Area Community Foundation has consistently prioritized collaboration with various stakeholders to enrich community programs and opportunities.

In addition to their work with the Robotics 4-H Club, the foundation also donated $2,500 for the monthly food distribution program (pictured above, at right). The funds will go toward purchasing non-perishable items to supplement the food available to families in need. With the holiday season approaching, this support is essential for ensuring no family goes without during these critical months.

Those who wish to contribute to the Tea Area Community Foundation’s efforts can do so by sending donations to Tea Area Community Foundation, PO Box 153, Tea, SD 57064, or by donating online at sfacf.org/tea. Your continued generosity helps strengthen the foundation’s ability to support local initiatives and foster a thriving community.
