Tea Area School District opens nominations for Hall of Fame

The Tea Area School District has announced the opening of nominations for the Tea Area School District Hall of Fame. This marks the third opportunity to recognize and honor exceptional individuals or teams for their lasting contributions or remarkable accomplishments.

“We are seeking nominations for individuals, groups, or teams who have excelled in Arts, Athletics, Academics, and/or exhibited exemplary Titan Pride,” said Dr. Jennifer Lowery, Superintendent of the Tea Area School District.

Aligned with the Tea Area School Board’s strategic plan, built on four pillars, the Hall of Fame aims to celebrate those who have excelled in Arts, Athletics, Academics, and exhibited exemplary Titan Pride. The district is seeking nominations for individuals, groups, or teams who have significantly impacted these areas.

“We value all contributions and have outlined specific eligibility criteria to ensure we honor those who truly deserve recognition,” Dr. Lowery explained. Current employees are ineligible for nomination unless they have retired. Active advisors or coaches may be inducted alongside a team or group from at least a decade prior. Former employees become eligible for nomination five years after leaving the district, or immediately if their impact spanned 15 years or more. Students or teams are eligible after a minimum of ten years post-graduation. Exceptions may be made, particularly for teams or groups, with special consideration given to those who have achieved firsts within the district or demonstrated outstanding performance.

The legacy of an individual or team can be recognized through name recognition or clear contributions to the district’s programs, infrastructure, or ongoing endeavors.

Nominations are open through multiple avenues, including the district’s website, a Google form accessible via QR code, or by contacting Mallory Scheidegger at the District Education Center.
