Tea Legion drops back-to-back games

Lennox Sr Legion defeated Tea TinCaps 12-0 on Wednesday, June 28, due in large part to seven runs by Lennox in the opening inning.
Eric Munson pitched three innings in relief for Tea. Munson surrendered seven hits and four runs while, striking out two and walking three. Kellen Sattler stepped on the hill first for TinCaps. The starting pitcher surrendered two hits and seven runs (three earned) over one inning, striking out two and walking four.
Ethan Vis and Mason Schramm each collected one hit for TinCaps.
On Friday, June 30 TinCaps had trouble keeping up with Dakota Valley Legion Post 319 in a 7-1 loss at the Tea Athletic Complex.
Boston Willemssen led things off on the mound for TinCaps. He allowed eight hits and four runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out two and walking three. Tegan Dedula also pitched for the TinCaps, allowing three hits and three runs over three innings. He recorded four strike-outs.
Vis, Sam Werdel, and Schramm each collected one hit for Tea. Werdel led Tea with one run batted in.
The team will compete at Elk Point on Friday, July 7 and will host West Central on Monday, July 10.
