Titan girls to face SF Washington in SoDak 16
The Tea Area High School girls basketball team will travel to Sioux Falls Washington on Friday, March 7 in the SoDak 16 state-qualifying round at Sioux Falls Washington.Â
The Titans drew the No. 14 seed for the postseason with a record of 7-13 and will face the 3rd-seeded Warriors, who went 17-3 this season. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. The winner of the Sioux Falls Washington/Tea Area game will take on either No. 6 Mitchell or No. 11 Brookings in the Class AA State quarterfinal round on March 13 in Rapid City.Â
There is no re-seeding in the Class AA postseason, with the eight SoDak 16 winners feeding directly into the State tournament bracket. The girls’ Cass AA state tournament is in Rapid City at Summit Arena on March 13-15.Â
