Titan wrestlers shine at Rapid City Invite; Woodring earns Outstanding Wrestler honors

The Tea Area High School wrestling teams competed in the Rapid City Invite on Friday, December 13. The boys finished tenth as a team, while the girls placed 44th overall. Tyler Woodring, wrestling at 126 pounds, dominated the competition and pinned his way through the tournament. He secured first place and was awarded the Outstanding Wrestler honor, achieving five wins by fall with a total mat time of 8:06. Chase DeBoer, wrestling at 285 pounds, earned second place in his weight class. Additionally, Trevor Cordell, wrestling in the JV 157-pound category, captured third place.
